Biography

CLAUDIO SCOLARI
Drummer, composer, percussionist, conservatory teacher and member of the most prestigious symphonic orchestra of Italy, Scolari is the founder of this modern jazz music project. He has been the guide of this new original music and he always had the ability to involve and inspire his musicians so as to draw out the best of their musical expression. His compositional process starts with building the synthesizers, adding then rhythmic grooves and colors with percussion, drums and sometimes adding ornamental lines using piano and flute.

DANIELE CAVALCA

Drummer, percussionist and composer, conservatory graduate and student at Berklee College of Music where he’s majoring in Jazz Composition, Daniele maintains his central role as a drummer in this project, but he covers harmonic and melodic parts on other instruments such as bass, piano, vibraphone and melodica. In the compositional process he focuses on developing the thematic ideas suggested by Claudio while creating his own in some of the tunes.

SIMONE SCOLARI

Trumpet player and conservatory student, he has a significant role in the project since he is in charge of playing the lead lines in most of the songs. So far in this project he has improved his improvisational skills, developing a great trumpet sound, sweet, warm, very close to the sound of a flugelhorn.
